Why do people have so many different terms for diarrhea?
What is diarrhea? How can I cure diarrhea? Is diarrhea a symptom of something more serious? How long does diarrhea last? Are there any websites, forums or blogs that offer printable coupons for diarrhea relief?

Hi, @twisism!
As there are still many "negative" feelings involved with bowel problems, people seem to like to express themselves in different ways to say that they have a loose or watery stool.
Diarrhea is always a symptom of something fairly serious even if we "think" that it's just minor "food poisoning", it should always be checked out by a medical professional!
There are many causes for diarrhea, some are serious viral infections, some obstructions in the intestines, candida or simply bad dietary habits. Please follow the instructions and advice from your doctor.
Amazon.com has very many diarrhea self-help books, one of the best you can find here:

OTC medication is available, but they only cover up the symptom. The best way to deal with diarrhea is seeking and following medical advice and keeping to a diet of fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts and seeds!
Hope this helps!
