Why do my goggles leave an imprint on my face for a full day after swim training? No-I haven't done them up too tight! Any advice?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Could be a slight allergy to the goggles or it could be just that you have sensitive skin, try a different pair and if it always seems to happen but no itchiness or irritation it probably is just that your skin is sensitive. My daughter was diagnosed by her allergist with a simple scratch of the skin that her skin was extremely sensitive and goggles tend to do the same to her. When he scratched her he said most people would show a slight red mark but hers swelled and was very red perhaps the same problem here. Hope this helps.

because if something is pressed up to your face hard enough to not let water in it's going to leave an imprint, that's just how it works.

Maybe because of the pressure of the water you get when you're swimming.. Or maybe because of the of your sensitive skin.. I guess after swimming, must wear sunglasses to cover this... Sunglasses have really many benefits for us.. Here.. watch this video.. Here's one benefit for a guy...

Perhaps you're dehydrated.
