More often than not, I'm willing to bet if the object of your affection were to return your feelings with fervor, you'd find your attraction to her would wane in the process.
The short version: it's human to want what we 'can't' have.
Eventually, though it seems it might never happen it will, you and a girl are both going to be looking at each other at the same time and see the same thing and feel the same desire.
It's a really magical moment when that happens, and all these times of near misses before it only serve to make that moment grander and more beautiful.

M$Everything happens in the right time. Maybe you're still being prepared right now, emotionally, mentally, physically. Of course, when the right person came, we must be ready for it. Nothing's perfect in life that's why it's up to us to at least make things close to perfect. That's why we have to wait sometimes. We have to be a better person first.
Right now, I'm happy. Finally, the person I've been waiting for came into my life. I know soon enough, that person for you will come too. For now, just enjoy life and love yourself too. ^^
