Why do I consistently see groupings of twitter questions about the same topic?

For instance, right now on the main Mahalo Answers page it is showing a grouping of questions regarding the palm pixi, all from twitter users, and all from different names.

Is this spam? Is it due to an ad on twitter that was released at the same time to every user? I'm curious...

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

@drmatt is correct about the source of the questions. Once you are a green belt, you will have access to the Mahalo Twitter feature to import questions that you would like to answer. The best use of this feature is to import questions related to your Mahalo topic pages. You answer the questions with links to Mahalo topic pages where appropriate and hopefully get new traffic for your pages and for Mahalo.

Quick side note, I was looking at the Mahalo Twitter page and found a few typos and missing words.

Some of us have the ability to search Twitter for specific keywords and then import them into MA in a batch-like process.

Cool, eh?
