The main reason of Kim Clijster's retirement was due to her injury plague career. In her press statement she said ""It's tiring to get out of bed and to use an hour just to warm up stiff muscles in the morning,"...." it makes it all even more difficult to go on."
In March 26, 2009, she announced her comeback in Professional Tennis and played as a wild card in the U.S. Open, which he won. The real reason for her return was the All England Club, when she played together with Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf and Tim Henman in a tennis matches at Wimbledon's new Centre Court roof earlier in the summer of 2009.
