Calipari has recently coached several strong guards at Memphis and Wall likes the way the coach uses and develops guards.
Calipari had been recruiting Wall to go to Memphis, but then took the open job at Kentucky. That was when Duke and some other schools thought they may get a renewed shot at Wall. Not so. Wall was convinced that Calipari was the coach for him, no matter if the school was Memphis or Kentucky.
