Robert Frost's son, Elliot, died of cholera at the age of eight, and his daughter, Marjorie, died of puerperal fever that she had developed as a young child, when she was twenty-nine. (Also his daughter, Elinor, died because of birth complications when she was three days old.) His daughters, Irma and Lesley, both died of natural causes later in their lives.
