Why did Elizabeth Edwards write about her husband's affair and why is John Edwards going around with her to publicize it?

M$As for her motivation for writing about the affair, it very well may have been a coping mechanization. It's always good to talk about or even write about your feelings(Diaries would be a good example.). It also could be to needle her husband just a little. They may still love each other but there is nothing wrong with dragging him through the mud just a little so he knows how she probably felt.
Good Luck!
