Why can't I tip an individual less than one Mahalo dollar?
There have been plenty of helpful Mahaloans that I would like to tip for their help. The fact is that I don't (yet) have enough money to tip everyone a dollar.
Wouldn't it be better to be able to tip them $0.75, $0.50, or even $0.25 then to not be able to tip them at all?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes I agree it would be nice to be able to tip less than $1 for a helpful answer. It has been suggested before, but they have not made it an option yet. It is understandable that you don't want to tip so much when you have not had a chance to earn a lot yet. For now, I would recommend replying to helpful answer letting them know you appreciate their answer. Sometimes words are more valuable than Mahalo dollars.
