about How to Become a Werewolf
Why can a werewolf only be killed with a silver bullet? From where does that part of the myth originate?
The How to Become a Werewolf page mentions that a lot of the aspects of popular Hollywood werewolf myths are not necessarily based in the early history of werewolf legends. Is the silver bullet another modern-day addition? (Maybe sponsored by Coors Light? :D)

No, the silver bullet legend seems to date from the 1800's at the latest.
Also, "in different traditions, silver is thought to be the metal associated with the moon and with the human soul. It is likely that these associations have contributed to the legend of the silver bullet." From Wikipedia-Silver Bullet
