Why are my pages viewed not increasing on Mahalo?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This has been stuck here for months.
Don't worry the pages viewed statistic has not been working for anyone since late August early September 2009. At one time we received points for page views but when that changed the page counter shut off and has not been reactivated or removed. I would suspect shortly the actual statistic on our profiles will be taken down.

M$I had no idea how to use this at first but there are several very good step by step pages that explain it.
How to Use Google Analytics for Beginners, Google Analytics for Page Managers, and How to Use Google Analytics Videos to name just a few.
In a nutshell, you get an account and then put the account number on your mahalo profile page. Then you can log into analytics and see all the traffic information to your pages.
I don't know why the page viewed was turned off. I don't know how tough it is to get it turned back on. And I don't know if the information that provides is as useful as the google analytics information. You can find out stuff like where your readers are, what keywords brought them there, what sites brought them there. By knowing this information, you can tailor your pages to suit your readers.
For instance, I have a content page for The Wiggles. For some weird reason, this is actually one of the pages that gets a lot of traffic. But people don't stay on the page long. It has some basic information about the show and the characters, and how the show came into being. However, I wonder why people go to the page and what they might be looking for that I can add to it. When I check the keywords of how people found the page, I found out that some people are looking for activities or maybe party ideas, so I now have a request in to write a page about that. I can then direct people to my other page if that is what they are looking for.
I also found out that some people thought the first lead singer might be dead because he left the show after many years for health reasons. Turns out there was an older boxer with the same name. I added some information to my page about the confusion so people wouldn't leave there wondering if the first lead singer had died back in 2009.
I do find it very helpful to have that detailed information for when I have time to work on the pages and update them. I'm not sure how useful just knowing how many people are coming to my pages would be without it.
