You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I watched fireworks last year from my home in San Francisco.
I have to admit that the SF bay has been a disappointment in the past with the fog rolling in and ruining the whole show.

If I could be anywhere today and watch fireworks, I'd choose Seattle.
The fireworks they displayed last year was simply outrageous!
I have never seen the cubed design shoot above my head in person, and the choreography is beautiful. The refection on the water is the icing on the cake.

If I had my way, I'd pick a different city each year to celebrate Independence Day and see everyone's show and share a good story, beer and a hotdog.

Happy 4th everyone!

The best company I know of that makes fireworks around here in Pennsylvania is Zambelli's. They even make the fireworks for Times Square on New Years Eve for the ball drop.

"Zambelli Internationale is synonymous with quality, creativity, and safety. Known as the "First family of fireworks", Zambelli's book is available at Barnes and Noble. They produce 3,500 shows yearly... They can make a set piece for about any customer wish. "Thunder over Louisville" held each spring at the Kentucky Derby. That display is launced using 10 computers, 8 barges and a 3,200 foot bridge and draws 800,000 people. The average display is said to last 15 minutes and cost $10,000. Large extravaganzas can run up to $450,000 not including liability insurance. Wedding displays run upto $4,000."-- http://sheltonfireworks.blogspot.com/2008/07/zambelli-fireworks-internationale.html

Visit their website for their self-made video of a firework display. http://www.zambellifireworks.com/outdoor_videos.php

Their biggest firework display every year on the 4th of July is said to be in Baltimore Harbor. This year they're holding it at West Shore Park.

The place I go to every year to see the famous Zambelli's fireworks is Dorney Park in Allentown, PA. I'm a half hour from there so its a hop skip and a jump away. I get to ride the rides all day and then sit back, relax and watch a great sparkly show before I go home and pass out from exhaustion.

The videos are from my hometown fireworks from last year.
