Who's your favorite fringe scientist and why?
David Bohm, Amit Goswami, Max Tegmark, David Deutsch, and Rupert Sheldrake are all examples of fringe scientists, with ideas that range from parallel universes to morphogenetic fields. Unlike most scientists, they are not pure materialists, and have many ideas that are at least partially backed by science.
