I love football questions. Frankly, I know who will win the super bowl. I knew when they were 4-8 and I know even more now that they've made the playoffs. The Chargers were destined to win this year and beating the odds make it that much easier for them.

They have Indy's game. They lost to them earlier this year, but that was their first loss to Indy in 3 years. Even the year that Indy was undefeated 11 games into the season, they came into San Diego and lost. The chargers were struggling midseason, and this time will cream Indy. I can easily predict a 10 point deficit.

Now I'll predict the other teams and lay the playoffs out for you up to the Super Bowl.
The Falcons will cream the Cardinals. Matt Ryan will be too overwhelming for the defense and Warner will not be able to handle them.
The Vikings will beat the Eagles with some ease. Tarvaris is still looking good, Bennet, Berian, these guys have it good.

The Ravens/Dolphins matchup is a tough one. I think I'm going to have to go with the Ravens though, for two reasons. One is that I really want them to win, because they'll have to matchup with the Titans if they do. Two is that their defense has been playing exceptionally this year(like usual) and I think they'll be the only team able to stop that Wildcat offense. Plus, Flacco did pretty well last week against the Jags, over 100 QB rating and he's looking good coming into this game.

So, the next matchups will be Ravens at Titans and Chargers at Steelers in the AFC, and Falcons at Giants and Vikings at Panthers.

I have some faith that the Ravens will beat the Titans. I know it wasn't their best performance, but the Titans fell hard this last week and they have not been playing at their best in recent games. The Ravens just seem to get better and better as the season goes along. The Chargers will make quick work of the Steelers. With Roethlisberger down and out, it will be a fairly easy and dominant win.

Here's where things get ugly. I don't think the Giants will pull this one off and will fall to the Falcons, that is my big upset pick of the playoffs. I haven't been impressed with the Giants of late and I think no matter what happens that will be a very close game. Not to mention it won't matter because neither will go to the Superbowl. The Vikings will fall to the Panthers with ease.

The final matchups will be Falcons at Panthers and Chargers at Ravens. The Panthers and Chargers will win and matchup in the Super Bowl, where the Panthers will dominate until the end of the game and then get beat. Chargers win Super Bowl with a season-long 8-8 record.

I do live in San Diego, so you could say I have some bias, but I truly believe that is how it will go down. Look back at this page a month from now and watch how accurate this all is.

Go Chargers.

That list is actually missing a few, one of which is my pick: the Tennessee Titans. They've been pretty amazing this year in the regular season, and quite frankly don't have much competition in the AFC, so I certainly have no doubt they will get to the Superbowl. The Panthers or Giants have the best bet of meeting up with them in the big game, but I think the Titans will still come out on top.

The Ravens and Titans faced each other earlier this year, and the Ravens pushed them up and down the field. Many people know about the phantom "blow to the head" call that gave the Titans a second life, but most have forgotten about an earlier call. One of the Ravens WR's (Mason, I believe) caught a pass going out of bounds in the end zone. Harbaugh decided not to challenge, but I was recording it. Watching it frame-by-frame, it appears it was a good catch. No telling what would have happened after that, but when you give the Ravens an early lead, they're very tough to beat!

The New York Giants are by far the best team in the NFL and will prove so by repeating as Super Bowl champions. Their stiffest competition will come from the Panthers, but they have already proven that they can beat them. The AFC is a fairly weak conference, so regardless look for the Super Bowl champ to be from the NFC.

Defense wins championships. The Steelers have the best defense in the NFL, so I expect them to win it.
