Who's a better guitar player in your opinion: David Gilmour or Mark Knopfler?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I rest my case.

M$Gilmour and Knopfler both are among the all time elite when anyone discusses the best of the world's guitarists.
They each have their own unique personalized styles that neither, in my opinion, stands above the other.
I've seen both numerous times perform live and am in awe of each. To me its more a matter of what mood I am in at a paticular moment as to which of these awesome guitarists was the one I'd choose to listen to.
But...you ask for an opinion, so I'll give you mine at this moment (subject to change according to my mood).
If both were performing at the same time at different venues and I could only choose one to attend, well then it would have to be David Gilmore.
I'll counter Jason's video with this one;
When it comes to the Show, which would you pick?

M$WoW, you could at least get your dollar's worth and let the question run a few days to allow for answers to be submitted.
Just a suggestion as I see you are fairly new to Mahalo.
Theres alot of members who might not get to a question the day its posted but would enjoy giving you their best answer providing they feel its productive for them to invest their time and effort.
Heh, I saw them in St. Louis before getting on a plane and taking that painfully long flight to Hawaii.
Believe me, I was Comfortably Numb for the entire flight.
