Yes, the Fry wars should be explored. McDonald's is still in the top spot to me. Carls Jr. was creeping up until they changed their fries.
The BK fry change was indeed official, but it happened way back in the '90s sometime. I only recently tried Carls Jr. fries, but I don't really like them too much. I also recently became a fan of Jack in the Box fries, too, especially the seasoned curleys. Mmmmmm...
Funny, a while back I'd agree with you, but ever since Burger King changed their fries to the crispier variety (it's been a WHILE now, but it still seems pretty recent to me) I've actually liked theirs better than McD's!

I just thought it was just a freak accident that I happened to be getting some pretty decent fries. I can count the number of times I've gone to BK on one hand in the last few years though.

Ooops. Forgot to put why.....
I like the taste of the char. It adds character. The Big Mac's dressing is really not very good to me. I think the BM is Mickey D's worst menu item. I usually get the Whopper without onions and ketchup, but that is just because I hate to burp up onions for the rest of the night. And I might be called something for saying so, but I'm not a fan of the ketchup + mayonnaise "dippin' sauce" craze. :-)
Why?
I ALWAYS know that a Big Mac is going to be the same... If I'm in New York, Paris or Japan. They are all prepared the same way.
Whopper... Char-broiled.. Mmmm... Pretty basic which is great for me.

This is sound, scientific proof right here. So since hot sauce contains a bunch of sodium, I think that adding hot sauce to a Whopper would officially make it the best!
except u didnt consider the size of the burgers themselves. otherwise u would have found that the whopper is healthier per ounce. and everyone knows that u would go up for more food after u eat a big mac, so therefore the big mac is smacked!
