Who will win the video game war this holiday season, Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft?

Tip for best answer: M$2.01
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think Microsoft will be the standout with Kinect. Yes all three have motion based games but with Kinect you don't need a controller, and I believe this is going to be a big selling point, not only do you not need to buy anything extra, the learning curve should be alot smaller as compared to gaming with a controller.

Great answer....but..."not only do you not need to buy anything extra". Yes you need. If you want to use the Kinect you need a console compatible with it. Ex:

these won't work with kinect:

You need this one:

So, if you don't have the latest model, you have to buy one.

I am going to go with Nintendo, they seem to be making a serious stride in the games that involve more than sitting on the couch and using your hands, they are revolving themselves around children who actually like games to be alittle more fit and less of a couch potatoe. Thanks
