Who will win the NFC West in 2010?

This division might be the one more up for grabs than any other division in football, the Arizona Cardinals have managed to be the team to beat in the NFC West for the last couple of years, but can they keep it up with the loss of Kurt Warner? Will Matt Leinart be able to step into his sizable shoes or will the San Francisco 49ers or the Seattle Seahawks manage to make a play? While the St. Louis Rams probably won’t be able to actually compete, will they be able to help determine who does?

I don't think the Arizona Cardinals will have enough to win the division for a third consecutive year. The loss of Kurt Warner will hurt. There is no guarantee that Matt Leinart will even be the starting quarterback. Six year veteran Derek Anderson could give him a push. Either way, neither are anywhere near the caliber of Warner. They also lost receiver Anquan Boldin to the Baltimore Ravens. I think the San Francisco 49ers are ready to overtake the Cardinals in the division. I like their improved defense and solid play of quarterback Alex Smith. Frank Gore is a key player for them. If he stays healthy, the team will have a great running game and a potent offense. The Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams will continue to bring up the rear in this division.

Hands down even with an 0-2 start I still believe that the 49er's will come to the top with Seattle right on their heels. St Louis will only play spoiler if they can gel together. And Arizona could be in some serious trouble without a QB. But with Gore, Willis, Davis, and coach Singletary at the helm I'm expecting a 49er gold rush this year.

0-2 doesn't mean anything. sure it has not been great for them but they will come together and win this division. i see them playing houston in the playoffs and possibly beating them depending where they play.
