Hi there @twisism!
Sorry for the very late response. I’m sure you’ve seen the most recent Grammy Awards already or if not, you knew already through the news what happened at the Staples Center on February 13th, 2011.
Anyway, for the 53rd Grammy Awards live telecast, only 9 awards were given (most of them are awarded on the pre-telecast) because the show is packed with performances from various artists.
1. Yolanda Adams, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride and Florence Welch did a powerful number as a tribute to Aretha Franklin. They sang ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman’, ‘Ain't No Way’ (Aguilera), ‘Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)’ (McBride), ‘Think’ (Welch), ‘Respect’ (Hudson), ‘Spirit in the Dark’ (Adams) and ‘Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves’.
2. Lady Gaga who arrived in a giant egg/cocoon or whatever you want to call it performed her new single called ‘Born This Way’.
3. This year’s Best Female Country Vocal Performance recipient Miranda Lambert sang ‘The House Built Me’.
4. This year’s Best Rock Album winner Muse performed ‘Uprising’.
5. B.o.B., Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae performed ‘Nothin’ on You’, ‘Grenade’ and ‘Cold War’.
6. Justin Bieber and Jaden Smith together on one stage danced and sang ‘Baby’ and ‘Never Say Never’ then Usher appeared and performed ‘OMG’.
7. Mumford & Sons, The Avett Brothers and Bob Dylan performed ‘The Cave’, ‘Head Full of Doubt’ and ‘Maggie’s Farm’.
8. Lady Antebellum who got the most awards on this year’s Grammys performed ‘If You Don’t Know Me By Now’, ‘American Honey’ and ‘Need You Now’.
9. Cee-Lo Green, Gwyneth Paltrow and The Muppets performed ‘F*** You’.
10. Grammy nominee Katy Perry performed her songs ‘Not Like the Movies’ and ‘Teenage Dream’.
11. Norah Jones, John Mayer and Keith Urban sang “Jolene”.
12. Eminem (who got the most number of nominations), Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Rihanna, Skylar Grey and Dr. Dre performed ‘Love the Way You Lie (Part II)’ and I Need a Doctor.
13. Mick Jagger and Raphael Saadiq sang ‘Everybody Needs Somebody to Love’.
14. Barbara Streisand is present in this year’s Grammys Awars show and sang ‘Evergreen’.
15. Rihanna and Drake performed ‘What’s my Name?’
16. Album of the Year winner Arcade Fire performed ‘Month of May’ and ‘Ready to Start’.
