Who will be Mahalo Answers' first EVER black belt?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My vote is Darcy Logan.

M$I say Heath Ledger.
If he is good enough to win an Oscar after he's died--something many living people can't do--I think he is good enough to come in and surpass me.

M$Well you're definitely the favorite, but there are two people in particular who are gaining points pretty fast!
What do you think of this?
Well, easyeboy and I sort of rotate as to who is more active. And Jeffhoard works for Mahalo and part of his job is to answer questions here--it is VERY hard to compete with that. So, if they surpass me, so be it. Or, I could let them get very close and up my efforts. One never knows. I really don't worry about it. As long as questions are getting ask and answered, I am happy.
Interesting, I didn't know Jeffhoard worked for Mahalo.
I'd put my money on you, and now that I know Jeffhoard works for Mahalo; I doubt Jason would allow him to finish first.
Unless easyeboy steps up his game a lot and you slow down, I think you will win.
but we'll have to wait and see

M$Looked at stats. It takes 13,000 to get black belt (plus a test I think?) Darcy has 9,000, which is 2,000 more than anyone else on answers right now. That is hard to catch up to.
Also, I have the sense that Darcy is the competitive type of person who will make sure she is ahead of the "next guy" in terms of points, even if it means going above and beyond the call of duty.
Darcy's answers are universally interesting and informative. I have not seen her whiff at an answer yet. And she clearly believes in Answers. So, I have full faith and confidence Darcy will be the first Black Belt.
I also believe Mahalo Answers will have half a dozen Black Belts, at least, by the Fourth of July, 2009.
