Although I don't have a link to the article, I receive the ''Hockey News'' at home, and the most recent issue, entitled "The Greatest Jerseys of All Time," has a list of the most traveled NHLers.
According to the list, there are to date four players who have played with 10 NHL teams. The first was Michel Petit, who first played in the NHL with the Vancouver Canucks in the 1982-1983 season.
Jean-Jacques (J.J) Daigneault and Jim Dowd have also played with 10 NHL teams, and their first seasons in the NHL were 1984-1985 and 1991-1992, respectively.
Mike Sillinger trumps them all, having played with 12 NHL teams over his pro career, which began in 1991-1992 with the Detroit Red Wings.
