Who sings the song "You are"?

Great song, but I can't recall the artist. Internet searches are difficult because so many songs have it in the title. My belief is that it's a relatively new song. It is rock, and I heard it on 96.7 WJR (Detroit). Can anyone help me?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I'd love to help you, bsee, but can you help us a bit more first? Could you hum a few bars? Or, at least tell us a bit more, such as male singer, female singer, some other lyrics, what time it was when you heard it? (BTW, "WJR" doesn't match up with that frequency, and the Detroit-area station at that frequency is adult-contemporary; is that the right station?)

Thanks--mm

P.S. In the interim, if you like the song "Amazing Grace", I'd love to see you go over to my "Best Video Version Ever" "contest" and nominate and/or vote! http://www.mahalo.com/answers/music/you-decide-best-video-version-ever-special-easter-edition-help-find-choose-the-best-video-version-of-amazing-grace

Ah wow I wish I had paid more attention. I know the station is 96.7, it has a male singer/group, it was maybe 1:30pm Monday in Troy, MI when I heard it.

I don't know the lyrics. If I did, I would know the song too. I've heard the song twice. By the time I'm home all I can remember is that I liked some song.

Ah ha! I am VERY glad you found it, and I'm gonna go check it out right now, too (on my Rhapsody account).

Welllllll, I thought maybe any other words would trigger it in my mind (or on Google). I'll keep my ears open, and even try to listen to the station here that has a similar format.

Some stations list their playlists - your 96.7 does not. Dang it.

Keep listening, though, because stations like that tend to keep the same songs in rotation for awhile. And, if you hear it again, either call the station (800-968-96-FM) or note more lyrics and bring 'em back here! We'll figure this out yet!!!
