Now that Andrew Thomas has resigned to run for Attorney General, the Board of Supervisors get to hand-pick who will temporarily replace him (and possibly have a leg up in this Fall's election to serve the last two years of the term.
13 people applied, and a citizen's committee has recommended 4 of them to the Board of Supervisors: former County Attorney Rick Romley, Chandler Mayor Boyd Dunn, Deputy Cty Atty Cleve Lynch and former prosecutor for the USAO Andrew Pacheco. (Find the brief report here: http://bit.ly/budu20)
