Who should I call to report a parent I suspect of not providing adequate healthcare to his children?
By law, is a parent required to take a sick child to the doctor? Besides contacting the authorities, what can I do to help a child who isn't receiving proper healthcare?

If you're worried the parents aren't providing for a child, then it's *extremely* important you call Child Protective Services immediately. The problem may be worse than it appears to be on the outside.
Medical care is a parent's choice, but it's also their responsibility to take care of a child to the best of their ability.
If the problem is really bad, then the child may be getting sick because their parents aren't providing for them.
The Child Protective Services are state-based, so you'll want to Google the number for your local CPS or look it up in a phonebook.
