Who said 'do more with less' first?
Many companies, media, etc state this to summarize a "we'll work smarter, not harder" approach infused with a some type of reduction (capital spending, workforce, etc). Now, it's not uncommon to here a manager state this to his directs. Is the use today the same as it's original meaning? Was there a specific plan as to how to achieve the end result?
