Who makes Turbo Tax?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The TurboTax software is put out by the company known as Intuit, who acquired the software program after they bought out a company that was known as Chipsoft, which now goes by the name Intuit Consumer Tax Group.
Intuit also puts out other forms of software including the popular accounting software Quicken. Some other software programs that Intuit has put out over the years include the following:
Billing Manager: A free online tool for small businesses to do their invoices.
Intuit Eclipse: Used for wholesale distribution
Pro Series: Another Tax preparation product that started as part of TurboTax.
Quick Base: Makes it possible for businesses to create their own applications.
Quick Books: Another software you are probably heard of which used for accounting in small businesses.
So as you can see Intuit makes a whole lot of software programs, not just TurboTax or Quicken, although these are the ones they are most known for.
