Who is your favorite movie villain of all time and why?

Movie villians can make or break a movie. Some of my favorite James Bond movies had pretty lame villains. Remember Live and Let Die? The villain of that one sucked!

Anyway, here's my top 2:

The original unfriendly Terminator was and still is totally Badass.
Zorg is just goofy.

Mine is Heath Ledger's version of the Joker. You can't buy him, he just burns the money since it is all about being bad. He's like a physco terminator with style.

I did not even like the movie that much, but Heath held my attention. The saddest part is we will never get to see it reprised.

Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men. To me is he just pure evil in human form.

The Wicked Witch of the West. She used to scare me as a child, and I still think she's pretty evil...

Moriarty, from the Sherlock Holmes stories.

"He is the Napoleon of crime, Watson. He is the organizer of half that is evil and of nearly all that is undetected in this great city. He is a genius, a philosopher, an abstract thinker. He has a brain of the first order. He sits motionless, like a spider in the center of its web, but that web has a thousand radiations, and he knows well every quiver of each of them. He does little himself. He only plans. But his agents are numerous and splendidly organized. Is there a crime to be done, a paper to be abstracted, we will say, a house to be rifled, a man to be removed -- the word is passed to the Professor, the matter is organized and carried out. The agent may be caught. In that case money is found for his bail or his defence. But the central power which uses the agent is never caught -- never so much as suspected."

Without a doubt it has to be Darth Vader. Why? He represents the ever-present darkness that is in us all that we must fight to repress. He also has a lot of "Street Cred" in all the super-villain circles. Not to mention, he has a great villain costume.

Agent Smith from The Matrix. I just HATE him. That's why he is my favorite villian. He's good at what he does.

Stansfield from Leon: The Professional as played by the incredible Gary Oldman. I love him because he is psychosis personified. It is a role that could have been 2-dimensional, but Oldman injects just the right amounts of evil and crazy.

Oh mine has to be Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers films.

"1 Million Dollars!" Finger on mouth!

"Laser" quotes with fingers

He is my favorite because he is so funny, yet pathetic that you kind of feel sorry for the poor guy.
