Who is your favorite Mahalo Brainac?

PixelSilva

Just one name, please, make a decision one the smartest person you know in the community.
Tip for best answer: M$1.12
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

@davepamn - I think this is one of the hardest questions to answer.

There are so many different types of brainiacs on Mahalo.

There are the more scientific types here that rock like @badaspie and @philipy.

There are the ones that are complete know-it-all geeks like @smartweb and @robbrown.

There are people here who can tell you everything about dogs. Others that can see the window into your soul and help you emotionally.

There are twitter pros, music masters, beer experts just to name a few.
I believe that it takes all of us to make this place rock!

My brainiac changes daily as I see people posting brilliant and new answers here. Today, I would have to say that @ewpldf takes the cake.

@badaspie answered a ton of my science questions. I call him, "Five Animal" Style Gung fu with a preference towards snake.

I agree with your choice of Badaspie

I respect several folks on Mahalo and find many who give strongly formulated and interesting answers which include original thought and are backed up by good sources. For the purposes of this question, I would nominate @Buddawiggi

I forth the @Buddawiggi nomination. He has been there from day one and has always given through, well thought out, and helpful answers.

Thank you for the nod @windowshopping (modestly blushing)

I will have to say the galactic volume of hyper smart individuals that answer questions here makes it really quite impossible to pick just one.

I do remember in school that the students that had the most questions usually did the best and in the end were the smartest. I will in this spirit now say that the Mahalo Brainac would be @davepamn.

All respect to the *way to many to list* other brilliant individuals here on Mahalo.

@davepamn is the one asking the most questions and as we just answer each question tailored to our own individual tastes or area(s) of expertise, @davepamn reads and collects all this information we so happily provide with our best efforts and keeps it as his own. To me it is simple.. the person with the most information wins.

@philipy is the iron butterfly. He seems friendly, yet his answers are rock solid.

god there is quite a few here, some really have broad areas of expertise and some like davepamn ask some questions that make me think he has a lot of areas of knowledge, Kerryk seems to know a lot about sports, then you have people like robbrown Briansan buddawiggi philipy spoon badaspie brian san that have a lot of broad knowledge, then you have albanian who is strong in social sciences and krysstel who is strong in the dear Abby type questions and over lifestyle questions, so really it comes down to what are you here for and what your interests are. There are quite a few good people here, then there others that mark your answers unhelpful because they disagree with you at some point. I cant that I have only one favorite, I say there people that I can go to in certain areas, and get great answers, I have yet to see anyone that can beat davepamn at questions, I personally know socalsue from the computer lab and can ask questions about page links and other technical issues, I dine at Norms in Santa Monica which is real close to Mahalo headquaters so I will probably end up meeting the big wigs eventually, I will say that davepamn is my favorite questioner but as far as answers go there are quite a few good ones out there.
