Who are your favorite comedians?
1) George Carlin- I like his 'no bullshit' style and disregard for censorship. Even social censorship which is rare. He has a way to make you laugh at the most sensitive subjects, even if society says you should be offended.
2) Kat Williams- his mixture of male bravado mixed with genuine understanding of what it means to truly respect yourself, your people, and not quite as common- respect women without forgoing what it mens to be a man.
3) Jerry Sienfield- I hate his TV show... but his stand-up is genius. He plainly observes the loopholes that are often mistaken for 'common sense' and lets us all have a laugh at ourself and others without being offensive

I also like George Lopez, Sinbad, and Paul Mooney, which I'm going to go see next week! I LOVE comedy,
the New Times Magazine had a contest asking for the cheesiest joke ever, and funny, just weeks before
this, I had made up a joke that was really cheesy, LITERALLY, so I knew I stood a good chance of winning
this contest. I also knew that the joke was original and never heard before since I just made it up, so the chances of someone else submitting it too had to be slim to none... Sure enough, I got an email the next day telling me I won! My name and the joke were announced in the next issue and and took up half a page!
I was also given 10 tickets to the Phoenix Comedy Theater and awarded 10 free comedy workshop classes., which is odd because I don't think people can be taught how to be funny, either your funny or your not is how I see it, but I haven't attended one yet, so I could be wrong... I have met a lot of comedians throughout the years and they have all inspired me, I love to make people laugh, including myself, hahaha
here are a few pics, one of me with Charlie Murphy backstage when he came to Phoenix last month (who also gave me the tickets to Paul Monney next month) and me backstage with George Lopez about 10 years
ago, and also a video of me acting goofy :)

I like them for their stand up comedy performances. Some of the funniest ones I've seen.

M$1. Bill Cosby - his "Himself" film was literally the first stand-up routine I ever saw in my life. It was the most hilarious thing I'd ever seen and learned something that everyone finds funny - it's funny if you can relate to it.
2. Eddie Murphy - When I grew up to be in Jr High, I came across Eddie Murphy's Delerious and again, my life was changed in two ways: I learned about using curse words (for all practical reasons, Eddie Murphy taught me how to use the "F" word in the most creative ways!) and also about doing characters and impressions. People enjoy different voices, dialects and tone inflection to hit their funny button. Ever since then, I started doing voices. They usually kill!
3. Sam Kinneson - when I got to High School, I came across Sam. He was so hard core, so out there, he was larger than life to me. He did it all, said it all and went back for more. He taught me to damn the torpedos and put yourself out there, and not to give a rip what "critics" say. If you make people laugh, if you get paid and if you're honest about things, then who cares? Do what makes you happy and you'll always succeed.

M$Sam is one of those crazed loony comics... very funny. Eddie? Well, lets just say quitting drugs was solely for himself, not his fans. Heh... I like all of his old work, but I chalk him up to the same group as Robin Williams, only Robin seems to have 'creepy character' down to a near science now that he's sober. Eddie sold his sole to Disney. Damn their money goloms.

My second favorite would have to be Daniel Tosh. Pretty funny stand up comedian, he also has a pretty funny show on Comedy Central called Tosh.0 where he reviews funny viral videos.

My third favorite is a tie between Ron White, Larry the Cable Guy, and Bill Engvall I can't really pick but I grew up with them, and they have some pretty funny comedy skits, and stand up. I really enjoyed the Blue Comedy Tour the put on.

M$He is a man with a accent-full-of-humour. He made me roll-on-the-floor. He makes different type of faces and makes me laugh until it satarts hurtin' my chest!
# JIM CAREY
This man is a bundle of talents. For more watch Dumb and Dumber!
# KRISHNABHISHEKH (Indian)
He is an outstanding mimicry artist and choreographer.
# Guys in "Whose Line Is It Anyway..."
They put humour in every word as like they all were made for this. And talking about Wayne, he is an xcellent Singer.

YOU ARE SO FIRED! I'm actually jealous...
why everyone should be jealous as hell**
hell of a time for a typo and hell of a place to NOT have an 'edit' button
OMG!! you are so HIRED!! hahahaha! for what job? i dunno, but the job is yours! hahaha
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPAGolSadH8I say that sh*t all the time!!! (you're fired!) SO MUCH, that I actually have a shirt that says it!!! hahaha check it out! (excuse the watermark on the video, but I had to convert it for youtube to upload & used some free program that put that on there!) This video was made like 3 years ago, it's just an excerpt from a video that I made which goes on to say a bunch of other stuff... probably not suitable for this site! Thanks for the Best Answer vote! The Paul Mooney show last night was absolutely hilarious! I have video of me talking to him and giving him a hug and a kiss! hahaha! I'll put it on facebook so check it out!!
Oh! hahahaha! I was wondering why you put that! (I should be jealous as hell! hahaha) that IS a hell of a place to not have an edit button! too funny! I also have pics of me with Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer, and Guns n' Roses drummer Matt Soren... people always ask me how I get to meet so many famous people, and it's because a good friend of mine was a DJ at the #1 radio station in San Francisco, KMEL 106.1 , he was on the air there for 13 YEARS! that's a LONG time to be on the air ANYWHERE! radio stations come and go, DJ's constantly come and go, but Rick Chase was a legend! he was the only DJ to get away with saying the F-bomb on the air and not lose his job, and probably the only DJ in history to get fined $25,000 by the FCC!! radio stations have been fined much more than that, but they fined the station and Rick personally. here is a couple of links about him (he was extremely controversial and did a lot of things that were considered a no-no, it's amazing that he even lasted a day let alone 13 years) he was my best friend (he passed away a couple of years ago) But, ya... I was on the air with him a lot as a guest and then as a co-host and he used to have A LOT of comedians in the studio and recording artists, for live interviews, or we would make club appearances to give out promotional items where artists were performing, etc... so that is how I met a lot of them, but I still continue to meet many even though Rick has passed and I'm not on the radio anymore... I'm such a groupie! you should see me, I'm totally star-struck too! it's hella funny!

Oh! I forgot to include my winning joke (and my silly video! hahaha) Ok, so i already KNOW this joke is corny... well, in this case, "cheesy!" hahaha
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vx92Uu0FU7c"If Wisconsin is considered the "Cheese State" then WHY don't they call it Swissconsin? (cheesy isn't it?) hahaha! I don't care, it won me all those tickets and comedy workshops!
I was happy to see this question because I love discussing comedians or comedy in general, a friend of mine is an up and coming comedian, illusionist, and a damn good juggler! (he juggles pancakes while in the frying pan!) he's been on TV a couple of times and made a cameo appearance in a movie, but many people have never heard of him, his name is Scot Nery, he was a street performer, but he is a skilled artist at his craft, and amazingly good at it! he sets a flip-phone style cell phone on the floor and kicks it up into the air and catches it between his ear and shoulder in the same position you would have it if you were talking on the phone! he never misses! just amazing and funny! I'm also a huge Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy fan, and I LOVE Jack Black, Lewis Black, Louis CK and Mitch Hedberg- (RIP-so sad) Sam Kinison was a friend of my friends and we found out about his death the next day and it hit us pretty hard, both Mitch and Sam were at the highlight of their careers when they passed, they were taken much too soon :( I'm also a fan of Gallagher even tho he's kinda weird hahaha) and Howie Mandell, of course Robin Williams! a couple of not so well known comedians like Doug Ferarri, and Joe Rogan (host of fear factor) Leslie Neilson, and so many others! But my top 3 are those I listed, and it's hard for me to pick between Dave Chappelle and Katt Williams (can't believe Katt retired!!) they are both funny as hell, and equally funny as well, their style is along the same lines, so that's tough to choose... But One thing I did find very funny, is that our taste in Jerry Seinfeld is the exact opposite, I absolutely LOVE his show and just HATE his stand up act!! I tried to get into it, but it bored me, (i'm sorry, I know you like it, so I don't mean no disrespect) but he's funny on his show... but to each their own, I understand that, I just thought it was funny that we both like him but for opposite reasons...
Great Question tho ! :o)
