The Chief Executive Officer of Sony Entertainment is Mr. Rolf Schmidt-Holtz. He has served in 2006 under the joint venture SONY BMG Music Entertainment. He was head of SONY BMG from August 2004 to February 2006.
Mr. Schmidt-Holtz handled positions in four major European television. He worked also as print journalist, television editor and correspondent, magazine Editor in Chief and Publisher, news executive.
He was the Editor in Chief of German public broadcaster WDR in 1986. He became a publisher two year later in 1988 and Editor in Chief of Gruner.
Mr. Schmidt-Holtz was born on August 31, 1948 in Martinsereuth, Germany and a lawyer by profession and a professor in science and technology.
