Who is the Goat Posse?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The Goat Posse are the phone supervisors and staffers for the inaugural phone shift of every KVSC Trivia Weekend. KVSC is a radio station (88.1 FM) in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The members of the Goat Posse are Captain F. (Fareed Guyot), Wildman (Eric Wildgrube), Phal (Chad Eggen), Digital Dave, Dude (Brett Hudoba), The Voice Of Corn, Princess Buttercup and Fast Eddie. For more info about each member go here: http://www.goatposse.com/main/index.php/posse-bios

According to GoatPosse.com: "The Goat Posse began rather inauspiciously when Capt. F (Fareed Guyot) showed up at KVSC in January 1994 to satisfy a longing to be on the radio. As he worked to complete his training with then training director Ed Fish his eventual wife and Station Manager Jo McMullen approached the Captain with a trivial proposal. The Captain was asked to volunteer on the phone bank during Motel Trivia.

Hooked-in by the specter of a free T-shirt for 15 hours of volunteer time Capt F. soon found a home on the phone bank. The following year Capt. F had fully integrated himself into KVSC operations and was joined by SCSU Alums Wildman (Eric Wildgrube) and Dude (Brett Hudoba) on the challenge line during trivia. The slowly evolving Posse enjoyed spending the hours taking calls and producing original productions to enhance the trivia broadcast. During this time another tradition began as the Goat Posse always staffed the inaugural phone-shift of each trivia and soon took on the leadership role in ensuring the phone bank performed properly from question 1 and on. (They take no responsibility after hour 4!)"

Hope this helps!
