You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Usain bolt set the 100-meter world record with a time of 9.58 seconds at the world championship in Berlin on August 16, 2009. He reached a speed of 37.6 kilometers per hour. Check out the TimeTric graphic for how much faster he has been compared to previous world record holders (see timetric source - it is interactive flash so cannot be pasted in as image).
He also set the world record for the 200-meter race, coming in at 19.19 seconds on August 20, 2009.

M$Hailing from Jamica, Usain Bolt, at 6' 5" and over 200 pounds is large for a sprinter, but he holds the world record in both the 100M and the 200M dashes. At the 2008 Olympics, he became the first man to break world records in both races while winning gold in each. Nobody is really very close to him right now, and he has broken his own records since the Olympics. He is the only man to run below 9.6 in the 100, and says he thinks he can break 9.5.

M$Here is a tip on world records... ¿do you know why he can´t break the record that often if he is capable to do it?
Because they always get a money prize by the Athletic Federation every time they break a world record. Here is the secret... if Usain Bolt breaks the 9.5 or 9.4 barrier to soon... he will cut his chances on cashing out more world records in the future.
So, they always try to break records on small increments, even if their true potential is capable to surpass the mark with ease. An example of this trend could be seen the day Usain Bolt broke the world record with 9.58 seconds at the world championship in Berlin on August 16, 2009....
He slowed down the last couple of meters before the finish line. Go take a look.
This was a device used by the pole vaulter, Sergei Bubka as well . . . used to break the world record again and again, one centimetre at a time . . .

I didn't know that, but I guess I'd rather get paid more often if it were me. Thanks for the info!
