Who is the best HoldEm player today and why do you believe him or her to be so?

If you've ever played the game of Texas Hold-Em you know the names of many of the great players. Likely you've watched them win or lose on TV over the years.

Who is the best in your opinion? What makes them the best?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think it's a tossup between Daniel Negreanu or Allen Cunningham, but I will give the nod to Negreanu. Both are amazing at reading their opponents, and have an excellent grasp of the math involved. Daniel just made the final table of the WSOPE for the second year in a row, finishing second. Cunningham made the final table of the 2006 WSOP Main Event.
