Who is hiring anime creators?
Are any companies hiring artists to create anime for cartoons and other entertainment? Do movie companies or production companies contract out for anime artists to work on their films?

To pursue a career in anime, you will not only need to have a talent for drawing, but you must have had experience in drawing manga comics. In addition, most employers also require that anime artists be able to draw manga at a very high pace to cope with the new episodes and issues. Since anima and manga are considered specialized art – it is a somewhat unique form of drawing and not like the usual comics the North American market is used to. As such, not all movie companies or production companies will outsource their projects to anime artists, especially if their work is not anime related.
There are a few American companies who do hire anime artists, however, since the demand for anime is declining both in Japan and in North America, establishing a career will be difficult. Some of these companies are:
Disney and subsidiary Miramax Films (corporate.disney.go.com/careers/index.html)
4Kids Entertainment (4kidsentertainment.com/)
