The Japanese have had a form of Iced coffee since the Taisho Period (around 1920), but the Australians have enjoyed iced coffee since the early 19th century. Greeks have frappe, invented by Yiannis Dritsas in 1957 while working for Nescafe.
So the Australians actually have had iced coffee the longest, but a Greek from Thessaloniki is credited with its invention.
