Who has reserved a Nissan LEAF? Where are you located? What changes do you expect to make driving an electric car?
I live in Utah and have reserved a Nissan LEAF. The changes I expect to make driving an electric car vs. a gas vehicle are planning my daily trips and knowing what my charge level is and knowing where charging units are located, planning for if/when the car is running low on power.

There do not appear to be any charging stations in Utah, or planned in the near future. You are too far to drive to California, so you will have to charge at home or at a friend's house. Personally, I cannot see buying an electric car in the near future, although a plug-in hybrid would make sense when available.
All-electric cars have the big advantage of a single, low maintenance engine; but, there is no sign whatsoever that the range problem will ever be solved. That means they are city cars for two car families until further notice.
