Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Usually the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom get corsages. In addition to them, others who you might get a corsage for are the grandmothers, godmothers, aunts, great aunts, sisters and any other females in your life who you are very close to. This could even be a neighbor who played a mothering role in your life.

The thing to remember is that the biggest and fanciest go to moms first, then grandmothers, and from the list above work your way down to let's say a simple one carnation with ribbon corsage.

Nowadays there are really no rules when it comes to planning your wedding. However, if you are planning a traditional wedding the Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom would receive a corsage. If there happens to be a Step Mother, then she should receive one as well, as well as the Grandmothers. This rule of thumb would also apply to the men in regards to boutonnieres.

Depending on your flower budget, you can extend that list to Aunts and others in the immediate family who is not involved in the wedding ceremony. Again, with families so blended and extended nowadays, these are just a guideline. There may be people in your life that are closer to you than family and if you would like to honor them in this way, you should feel free to do so.
