Tyler Crowley and I field all PR requests, speaking gigs, etc.
When we have a new product launch we email a dozen or so related journalists and bloggers and ask them if they want to see it.
That's all we do in terms of PR.
I've gotten a lot of press over the years and I've done so based on two things:
a) the quality of the products my teams are building
b) my ability to give clever sound bites :-)
