who do you think will go down as the most loved person and the most hated person of your generation?
I got caught up in a documentary about the most hated serial killers of all time and i couldn't help but think of how there's that one person in each generation who will always be a beloved icon and that one person who will be loathed even years after he or she is gone. In your opinion, who do you think will hold each of these titles?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

For me, I think the most love person of my generation would have to be Princess Diana.
There are a few others here who would be a close second. I think many of my generation will always remember President Obama, but there are just as many people who love him as despise him, and I think that is the nature of politics. Also, the thing about people that are still alive is that we can love them one day, but then they can turn around the next day and do something terrible that causes us to lose respect for them. I think this is true of people like Tiger Woods, Jesse James, and even Al Gore.
Perhaps one of the most hated people of my generation will be Timothy McVeigh, but I am certain that a lot of that also has to do with my geographic location. I have lived in Oklahoma all of my life, and like most people here, the Oklahoma City bombing is one of those horrific events that we can never forget.

I think you hit the nail on the head for my generation too.
*OJ would have a strong second place for me though. There is something about a bad buy getting away with it, that makes it more scary!
