Who do you think wears the pants in your family?

My husband thinks he wears the pants but I tell him what pair to put on. :)

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

My wife and I take turns wearing the pants ^_^

We are each good at specific parts of keeping up with the house hold and know when to bow to the others expert advice.

. . . EDIT

Now that I think about it . . . The cat wears the pants!
We pay the bills, feed her, and don't even expect her to get a job!

I guess I do, in the sense that my boyfriend is the accommodating one, and I'm the one who tends to be more stubborn and controlling, and therefore work harder to get my own way. Because of that though, I feel an obligation to try to curb it a little. I want us to be completely equal partners, but I understand that we may never be completely balanced, so I can just try.

Really, all of the joking that goes on aside, it's sort of a crummy thing when couples have that dynamic, but I guess it does work for some people...

I do agree with cheapgamer though: the cats always seem mostly in control ^_~
