Who do you look like?

Do you look like one of your relatives and not like your parents? Give me details. Compare yourselves to your cousins, aunts, etc. Why do you think this happens?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Some says I look like my mom, other says my aunt from my father side. Weird, eh? I think I don't look like either of the two.

In our family, I look a lot different from them. My brother looks exactly like my dad's brother. He also had some features of my dad in him. While me, there's no obvious similarities between me and my parents. That's why we used to kid around that they just got me from an orphanage. LoL XD

I guess it's just that I have thorough mix of characteristics both from my mother side and father side.

I have been told I look a little like Danny DeVito. Personally I don't believe that.

I definitely take after my mother, we have the same body type and personality. I suppose I do have a few features of my dad's (that's bound to happen during reproduction, no?), but my sister's the one who really took after him. I don't know enough about my extended family (aunts, cousins, etc) to know who I look like most, unfortunately.

People would tell me I looked like Kelly Osbourne as well (back when the Osbourne Show was popular on MTV). Not sure if I want to take that as a compliment, though she does have cool hair.

I'm the spitting image of my older sister. We're nine years apart, but you'd think we were twins. She doesn't think I look like her, but I see it so clearly. We even sound the same over the phone - we can't be told apart when people call. The other day, when I babysat for her for some days and I took my nephew to school, most people assumed I was her and were saying hello to me like they knew me! It was only when I didn't respond quite as openly ('cos I obviously didn't know them) that they thought 'my sister' was acting a bit odd!

On a different note, my brother doesn't look like either one of my parents or me and my other siblings. He looks exactly like my grandfather on my father's side. I never met my granddaddy but I've seen his picture and the resemblence is amazing. It's quite common though for resemblences to skip a generation. Sometimes, out of 5 children, there's one with ginger hair and then you find out that the grandmother was ginger. I think it's a beautiful thing and shows the strength of biological history no matter how far removed.
