Who do think is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy in 2010?

The 2010 season could prove to be a very interesting one in the world of College Football if for no other reason than every single one of 2009’s Heisman Trophy finalists has moved on to the NFL. I’m sure there are quite a few underclassmen that will be more than happy to move into the front runner of the Heisman race but the fact remains that most of the names that have filled the Heisman Trophy ballots the last few years are gone. So who is going to step up and take the trophy this year?

I think Washington Quarterback Jake Locker will win the Heisman Trophy in 2010. He has good size at 6ft 3 inches tall and can run like the wind blows! Locker has the hype needed to get the Heisman Voters attention and the skills to maximize his exposure.

Jake Locker does not have a great team around him but he makes them competitive. Like the NFL, college football is a quarterback’s game. Jake Locker will put up the stats to be in the running for the Heisman Trophy and I feel he will win it in 2010.

Jake Locker’s only bump in the road may be how bad his team is. Players on losing teams seldom win the award for being the nation’s best football player. Washington has to step it up and blow out some teams and knock off some teams they are not supposed to beat. If they do then Jake Locker will win the Heisman Trophy in 2010.
