Start by answering the What and How question above the fold:
- What are you offering that is unique?
- How can I respond?
Here are some preliminary tips:
1. You need a prominent and clear Call-to-Action (CTA) above the fold.
2. Get rid of the Distracting elements in the left and right columns.
3. Cut your headline to two lines with the main CTA and benefits.
4. If the video is important to understand how it works, then tell me to watch the video, but don't include more than one video no the home page.
5. Just use the avatar in the video. Your customers want to buy the experience and don't need to see "behind the curtain".
6. It's unclear whether the cities listed are the only locations available. Is that just supposed to communicate the time zone?
7. Try including a testimonial that explains the benefits, like "The SecondLife classes are a really stimulating and enjoyable way to learn languages"

Some things to do:
It looks like you're good at teaching Spanish. Stick to that and hire a pro web design firm.
If you want to use video to relay your message, have the video professionally composed, edited, and encoded. Using youtube the way that you are negatively affects trust. At the very least, your video should clearly display what is being offered.
Make it very easy to buy and tell me why I need to do it now.
Show me REAL testimonials from real students.
