Who discovered pi?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

According to Wiki Answer, Pi is discovered by the Egyptians and Babylonians about 4000 years ago.

As for Answerbag.com, they said that the history of Pi goes back to the Babylonians at 2000BC.

The widely used 3.1418 value for Pi is known as Archimedes' Constant, after Archimedes of Syracuse.

The above website show a detail history of Pi, the mathematician and what value they set it to be.
