Who created Flickr?
Where would I find who was the mastermind behind Flickr? Are there any interviews with the creator of Flickr?

Hello lauragin!!
Flickr was created by Ludicorp, a company started by Stewart Butterfield and Caterina Fake soon after returning from their honeymoon in 2002. They initially set about creating a multiplayer game but found it hard to raise venture capital to fund their company. Six months after formation of Ludicorp Stewart Butterfield came up with the idea for a photo sharing website. Flickr was launched in February of 2004, as small project as they wanted to concentrate on building the multiplayer game. Flickr had the same social networking features that the game had but its popularity resulted in the whole company shifting to this project, and Ludicorp eventually was bought by Yahoo in 2005.
