It was Rick Hansen, a Paralympic gold medalist that carried the Olympic Torch into BC Place, Vancouver. He passed it to Catriona Le May Doan, the two time gold medalist, after which it was passed to Steve Nash, Canadian NBA player, before the final pass, it was transferred to Nancy Greene, an Olympic skier and finally Wayne Gretzky, a famous Hockey player.
