Who are some interesting people to follow on twitter and why should I follow them?

I'm just starting to get with this whole Twitter thing and was wondering if there were any people you recommend twittering and why.

This is my account:

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Amongst others, I follow JasonCalacanis, LeoLaporte, KevinRose, cote and crazybob.

I find these informative and humorous. This is a winning combination. Too much humour or information on their own gets annoying, but these few have got it right IMO

It also depends on what you're interested in. I follow a few software developers because that's what I'm interested in.

I'd recommend looking at blogs/podcasts etc. that you're interested in and try following some of their authors.

Be prepared to un-follow some people also. There can be a lot of dross out there.....
