Which version of "The Basment Tapes" is the best, and where can I find it?
So I've been digging in on the history of all these famous unreleased albums that eventually get some sort of release, or have been bootlegged over the years.
I was just curious as to which version of this album is the best (Studio/Bootlegs), and where can I find it?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I liked it when Columbia released them in 1975. It sounded good as a kid listening. Now? I would get the remastered and re-released "A Tree with Roots" since it has the best sound (to me).
But that's just my opinion. I would listen to them before buying an expensive set.
