Which version of God of War is the best? What makes it so great?
There are lots of versions of the game - God of War 1 to GOW3, there's a version for PSP, and I think there are some others, as well. What's the best one, and why?

Yes, indeed there are 5 God of War games. The one you mention, the one for the PSP is called God of War: Chains of Olympus, and that is my favorite version. I liked that episode because it was on PSP and when they released it I was almost all the time in the car. Therefore, spending some time in traffic with Kratos was really fun. Especialy if you are nervous when you are stuck in the traffic! For a PSP game God of War: Chains of Olympus had an impressive gameplay and also great graphics. That’s why I choose this episode as my favorite. You can find other opinions on this thread:
