My most favorite ad campaign has been the McDonalds campaign using Larry Bird and Michael Jordan playing horse. One of them challenges the other to a HORSE game to determine who gets the Big Mac. Larry lays down stern rules, namely, no dunking. They make the most amazing trick shots, bouncing them off buildings, satellites, airplanes, sea-going whales and all kinds of impossible objects. In the end, Magic Johnson sneaks up and steals the hamburger, so neither of them get it.
McDonalds recently revived the campaign, but now they use Dwight Howard and LeBron James and dunking IS allowed. They duel and duel and duel to see who is best. And who steals the burger this time? Why, none other than Larry Bird. Cute little trick by McDonalds.
